Effects to Earth and Atmosphere
- The atmosphere in this area was contaminated with PAH or Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon. These are produced by burning coal and oil and depositing tar. They are also found in cooked meat.
- Groundwater in Mechanicsburg was also contaminated. TCE (Trichloroethylene) is found in the groundwater.
- VOC's are air transited contamination's in the atmosphere.
- PCB's effect the hydrosphere on Earth.
